The JROTC Commissioning Ceremony is a formal event where cadets are officially promoted to officer ranks, having their new insignia pinned on by family or instructors in front of their peers.

While the ceremony officially begins at 5:00 PM, all participating cadets must arrive by 4:00 PM. This extra hour is required for mandatory uniform inspections, staging in formation, and walking through rehearsals so the entire event runs seamlessly.
